The work will focus on the DNA damage response (DDR) in mammalian cells. The candidate must have a PhD in Biological Sciences and must be highly motivated with prior graduate and preferably postgraduate experience in protein biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology. In particular the candidate should have strong experience in working on the ubiquitylation control of DNA damage responses and should have prior experience of ubiquitin biology and DNA repair, especially the repair of DNA double-strand breaks. Limited funding: The funds for this post are available for 1 year in the first instance.
